Job summary

LEGO Singapore PTE. LTD. designs and develops existing LEGO bricks, applying Siemens NX Design Software to define specifications, own fit, and ensure compliance with design principles, quality, and manufacturing requirements.

The team focuses on robust, manufacturable brick designs while adhering to governance and continuous improvement practices. With a minimum of 3 years in plastic part design, the role emphasizes collaboration, problem-solving, and delivering solutions on time within cost

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in plastic part design.
• Proficient in Siemens NX Design Software.
• Good understanding of plastic mould design, injection moulding processes, and tool making.
• Knowledge of root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques.
• Good collaboration, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Continuous improvement mindset with a passion for learnings.
• A collaborative team player with a proactive and positive attitude.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop existing LEGO bricks using Siemens NX Design Software.
• Define technical specifications for existing LEGO bricks.
• Own the form, fit, and function of existing LEGO bricks, ensuring compliance with LEGO design principles, quality standards, manufacturing requirements, and play performance.
• Deliver engineering solutions on time, within cost targets, and to the required quality standards while complying with LEGO governance and development processes.
• Apply knowledge in plastic injection moulding, mould design, materials, tolerancing, and manufacturing processes to deliver robust, manufacturable existing LEGO bricks designs.
• Support improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, engineering efficiency, and productivity.
• Contribute to a collaborative and inclusive team culture that values teamwork, continuous learning, and a positive attitude.
