Job description

Job Summary:

The role involves providing end-to-end operational support for fixed income products, primarily Bonds and Repos. The analyst will handle trade validation, settlement processing, and pre-settlement confirmations, ensuring smooth completion of daily operations and compliance with internal, regulatory, and statutory requirements.

Mandatory Skill-set:

  • Knowledge of Fixed Income products, especially Bonds and Repos;
  • Must have experience with trade processing, settlement, and reconciliation;
  • Must have familiarity with Murex and/or Front Arena systems;
  • Understanding of banking compliance and regulatory requirements;
  • Accuracy and attention to detail in transaction validation.

Desired Skill-set:

  • Experience liaising with internal stakeholders (e.g., GFM branches, CBG, WMO) and external counterparties;
  • Knowledge of pre-settlement processes and trade confirmations;
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple transactions;
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills;
  • Prior experience in an investment bank or securities operations team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide robust support for end-to-end (E2E) processing of fixed income products;
  • Manage E2E processing, ensuring smooth completion and settlement of daily Bonds/Repo operations;
  • Perform trade validation for all Bond/Repo transactions against source documents in Murex and/or Front Arena;
  • Execute pre-settlement confirmations with counterparties;
  • Liaise with internal departments (local GFM branches, CBG, WMO) or Common Depository for fixing/settlement as needed;
  • Ensure compliance with banking, statutory, internal, and regulatory requirements.
