Job summary

Lonza in Tuas, Singapore, is seeking a manufacturing professional to join the Cell & Gene Therapy team. You will perform cGMP manufacturing activities using aseptic and cleanroom practices, complete batch records, logbooks and GMP documentation, and support environmental monitoring and production activities.

The role involves working with electronic systems (DMS, LIMS, TrackWise), reviewing records, and escalating deviations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in a life sciences, engineering or related field.
• Biopharmaceutical manufacturing experience is advantageous but not required.
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques or cleanroom operations is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform cGMP manufacturing activities using aseptic and cleanroom practices.
• Complete Batch Records, logbooks and GMP documentation accurately and on time.
• Perform environmental monitoring, equipment cleaning, sanitization and production support activities.
• Use electronic systems including DMS, LIMS and TrackWise.
• Review Batch Records and logbooks to support timely manufacturing operations.
• Identify and upscale deviations, equipment alarms and other non-routine events.
• Maintain training requirements and contribute to safety, quality and continuous improvement initiatives.

What you will do

What we are looking for

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Relevant academic, technical or industry experience; biopharmaceutical manufacturing experience is an advantage but not essential.
• Knowledge of biopharmaceutical processing, aseptic techniques or cleanroom operations is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of cGMP, quality, safety and data integrity principles.
• Ability to learn and work with electronic manufacturing and quality systems.
• Strong communication skills with a collaborative and proactive approach.
• Willingness to work in a cleanroom environment and on a rotating 12-hour shift pattern.
