Job summary

GenScript is seeking candidates for roles in its Protein department to support expression and purification workflows. The position involves hands-on work with mammalian cell culture and protein purification, with emphasis on documentation and SOP adherence.

The ideal candidate holds a biology-related degree or diploma and has practical lab experience in expression systems, chromatography, and protein analysis.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences or related fields.
• Practical lab experience in recombinant protein/antibody expression.
• Familiar with mammalian cell culture, chromatography, SDS-PAGE, Western blot.
• Good troubleshooting skills and resilience.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Available to work 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Resuscitation, passage, transfection, culture of mammalian cells (HEK293/CHO).
• Data analysis and reporting of cell culture experiments.
• Operate bioreactors, centrifuges, prepare buffers.
• Formulate and update SOPs; document work experience.
• Maintain instruments and perform routine maintenance.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
