Job summary

Illumina, Singapore, seeks a Production Supervisor to lead a high-throughput biotechnology production line, overseeing reagent manufacturing, array, flowcell and manifolds operations. You will ensure goals are met, manage resources, and drive process improvements.

Candidates should have a Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's preferred) with 0–3 years in manufacturing and 1–2 years supervisory experience; experience with cGMP, ISO standards, SAP, and strong leadership are highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent studies required; Bachelor's Degree or equivalent preferred.
• 0-3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with 1-2 years of supervisory experience
• Experience with cGMP, ISO 13485, ISO 9001 operations is required
• Candidates with night shift and/or 24/7 management experience will be highly preferred
• Experience in inventory control, SAP or similar
• Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills
• Pharmaceutical / Life Science product manufacturing experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee production in one or more of the following areas: reagent manufacturing, array, flowcell, manifolds production
• Schedule and manage resources, track and report results, troubleshoot issues, train employees, and implement process improvements
• Coordinate with Quality, Engineering, Shipping, and Planning groups to deliver results
• Write and revise work instructions, and train technicians on the proper use of these documents
• Responsible for efficient processing of work orders, reviewing batch records, maintaining training records, facilitating efficient shift changeovers
• Talent Acquisition activities including identifying needs, budgeting, interviewing and hiring
• Talent Development activities including training plans and career guidance
• Job Role Definition ensuring accurate descriptions for roles
• Performance Management including setting standards, feedback and appraisals
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Other duties as may be determined by Management
