Job summary

Roche in Singapore seeks a Biochemical Manufacturing Operator to support manufacturing tasks in line with cGMP and our quality standards. A Diploma in Life Sciences or Engineering is required, with a focus on safety, accuracy and teamwork.

Background in microbiology or fermentation is desirable. You will prepare equipment, clean and sterilize vessels, monitor processing equipment, take samples, and document activities per manufacturing formulas.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Life Sciences or Engineering discipline or equivalent holders.
• Minimum 3 years of related working experience in biotech or pharmaceutical environments.
• Strong problem solving, interpersonal communication and teamwork skills.
• Self-starter with focus on safety, quality, details and results.
• Ability to work weekends, off-shifts and overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Complete manufacturing tasks in scheduled order per cGMP and Roche policies.
• Prepare small equipment, clean and sterilize vessels, prepare solutions.
• Monitor and operate biochemical processing equipment and materials.
• Sample raw materials, perform environmental monitoring and dispensing.
• Maintain housekeeping and document activities per approved formulas.
• Troubleshoot equipment/process problems and support process improvements.
• Report safety incidents and participate in SHE investigations as needed.
