Job summary

TALENT-MERGE PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced BIM Engineer to develop, manage, and coordinate BIM models for road and tunnel projects in Singapore. The role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure clash-free, compliant deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.

The candidate will handle 3D BIM model maintenance, technical documentation, and shop drawings, contributing to on-site construction support and coordinated project execution.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in civil engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years of BIM experience in civil projects.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks and AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of civil/structural drawings, construction methods and BIM coordination.
• Good communication and teamwork; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage and coordinate BIM models for road and tunnel projects.

Job description

Responsibilities

1. Develop, manage and coordinate BIM models for road infrastructure, tunnel construction, structural and civil engineering projects.

2. Prepare and maintain accurate 3D BIM models, construction drawings and technical documentation in accordance with project specifications and BIM standards.

3. Collaborate with engineers, consultants, architects, subcontractors and project teams to ensure effective BIM coordination and integration across disciplines.

4. Perform BIM clash detection, identify design conflicts and coordinate resolutions to minimise construction errors and delays.

5. Develop and update BIM models for roadworks, underground tunnels, drainage systems, utilities, reinforced concrete structures and associated infrastructure.

6. Ensure BIM deliverables comply with project requirements

7. Participate in BIM coordination meetings, technical discussions and design reviews with clients, consultants and project stakeholders.

8. Support construction teams by preparing shop drawings, construction sequencing models, as‑built drawings and BIM‑related technical submissions.

9. Monitor BIM model quality, accuracy and consistency throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring timely updates to reflect design and site changes.

10. Assist the BIM Manager and project management team in implementing BIM execution plans, improving workflows and ensuring successful delivery of road infrastructure and tunnel construction projects.

Requirements

1. Minimum Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

2. Minimum 3 years of relevant BIM experience in civil engineering projects.

3. Proficient in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks, AutoCAD and other relevant modelling applications.

4. Good understanding of civil and structural engineering drawings, construction methodologies, BIM coordination processes and construction standards.

5. Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams.
