Job summary

Talent-Merge is seeking a BIM Specialist to develop and manage BIM models for road infrastructure and tunnel projects in Singapore. You will coordinate across multidisciplinary teams and ensure models, drawings and documentation meet project standards.

Applicants should have 3+ years of BIM experience in civil engineering, with proficiency in Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks and AutoCAD. Strong communication is essential for success in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 3 years of BIM experience in civil engineering projects.
• Proficient in BIM software: Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks, AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of civil/structural drawings and BIM processes.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage and coordinate BIM models for road infrastructure and tunnel projects.
• Prepare and maintain accurate 3D BIM models, drawings and docs.
• Collaborate with engineers, consultants, architects, subcontractors to ensure BIM coordination.
• Perform BIM clash detection and resolve design conflicts.
• Update BIM models for roadworks, tunnels, drainage, utilities and reinforced concrete.
• Ensure BIM deliverables comply with project requirements.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and design reviews.
• Support construction teams with shop drawings, sequencing models and as-built drawings.
• Monitor BIM model quality and reflect site changes.
• Assist BIM Manager in BIM execution plans and improving workflows.

Salary Range: S$6,000 - S$6,500

Job Responsibilities

• Develop, manage and coordinate BIM models for roadinfrastructure, tunnel construction, structural and civil engineeringprojects.
• Prepare and maintain accurate 3D BIM models,construction drawings and technical documentation in accordance withproject specifications and BIM standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, consultants,architects, subcontractors and project teams to ensure effective BIMcoordination and integration across disciplines.
• Perform BIM clash detection, identify designconflicts and coordinate resolutions to minimise construction errors anddelays.
• Develop and update BIM models for roadworks,underground tunnels, drainage systems, utilities, reinforced concretestructures and associated infrastructure.
• Ensure BIM deliverables comply with projectrequirements.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings, technicaldiscussions and design reviews with clients, consultants and projectstakeholders.
• Support construction teams by preparing shopdrawings, construction sequencing models, as-built drawings andBIM-related technical submissions.
• Monitor BIM model quality, accuracy and consistencythroughout the project lifecycle, ensuring timely updates to reflectdesign and site changes.
• Assist the BIM Manager and project management teamin implementing BIM execution plans, improving workflows and ensuringsuccessful delivery of road infrastructure and tunnel constructionprojects.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or arelated discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant BIM experience in civilengineering projects.
• Proficient in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit,Civil 3D, Navisworks, AutoCAD and other relevant modelling applications.
• Good understanding of civil and structuralengineering drawings, construction methodologies, BIM coordinationprocesses and construction standards.
• Strong communication, coordination andproblem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently andcollaborate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams.
