Job summary

Poh Chuan Electrical Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an Electrical Draftsman to design routing for building services drawings using AutoCAD and 3D BIM tools. You will produce schematic and single-line diagrams, and ensure compliance with electrical standards while coordinating with the engineering team on project requirements.

You will also update drawings for site and vendor changes, maintain files, and participate in consultant/contractor meetings to reflect changes in final As-Built drawings.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 2 years of experience minimum.
• Able to read building drawings and AutoCAD fluently.
• Well-versed in building regulations and local design codes.
• Proficient in AutoCAD drafting and Microsoft Office.
• 3D BIM modelling in Autodesk.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Drafting & designing routing for electrical building services drawings in AutoCAD.
• Prepare detail design and working drawings such as schematic diagrams and single-line diagrams.
• Coordinate with Engineering team to ensure drawings meet specifications.
• Update drawings for site/vendor modifications for As-Built Drawings.
• Ensure compliance with Electrical Standards.
• Design and draw for building services (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Sanitary, Fire Protection).
• Attend meetings with consultants and contractors as part of projects.
• Maintain and update drawing files; apply corrections as directed.
• Coordinate drawings with clients/main contractors and reflect meeting outcomes.
