Job summary

REALTECH ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a drafting specialist to prepare detailed design documents for M&E installations using BIM, AutoCAD, and Revit. The role supports project engineers and managers, staying current with drafting tech and ensuring timely delivery of all drawings.

The position requires planning efficiency, accurate archive practices, and strong coordination with construction teams on site to align drawings with design concepts and project needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in drafting for M&E installations and construction projects.
• Ability to read sketches and notes and translate into detailed drawings.
• Capacity to ensure drawings meet submission deadlines and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare drawings and detailed design documents using BIM, AutoCAD and Revit for preliminary, construction and as-build status.
• Assist Project Engineers and Project Managers at all levels.
• Stay updated with drafting technology to maintain competency.
• Plan drawing requests to meet submission deadlines and ensure on-time delivery of all drawings.
• Maintain accurate soft copies and archive drawings.
• Draft plans for M&E installations from sketches or notes.
• Produce finished drawings and documentation packages for reproduction.
• Review sketches, drawings and specs to ensure conformity with design concepts.
• Explain drawings to production or construction teams and implement necessary adjustments.
• Coordinate on-site with builders works and other trades for M&E systems.
• Handle site documentation and administration related to installation and coordination works.
