Job summary

Shimizu Corporation in Singapore seeks a BIM Modeller to develop and maintain BIM models across Architectural, Structural, and M&E disciplines using Revit and other BIM tools. You will coordinate 3D models, produce shop drawings, run clash detection with Navisworks, and participate in coordination meetings with consultants and stakeholders.

This role requires strong attention to detail and teamwork. Knowledge of BEP standards and client requirements, and the ability to manage multiple projects

Qualifications

• 2–5 years BIM modelling experience in construction or engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain BIM models for Architectural, Structural, and M&E disciplines using Autodesk Revit and other BIM software.
• Prepare and update coordinated 3D BIM models throughout the project lifecycle.
• Produce shop drawings, construction drawings, and as-built drawings from BIM models.
• Conduct clash detection and coordinate design interfaces using Navisworks or similar software.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and work closely with consultants, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to resolve design and construction issues.
• Create and manage BIM families, libraries, and project templates.
• Ensure BIM models comply with BEP, company standards, and client requirements.
• Assist project teams with quantity take-offs and model-based construction planning.
• Monitor design revisions and ensure models are updated accurately and promptly.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Building Services, Construction Management, or a related discipline.


• Minimum 2-5 years of BIM modelling experience in the construction or engineering industry.


• Proficient in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.


• Good understanding of construction drawings, technical specifications, and construction methodologies.


• Experience in Architectural, Structural, or M&E BIM modelling.


• Familiarity with Singapore BIM requirements, BCA BIM standards, and submission processes will be an advantage.


• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.


• Meticulous, organized, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
