Job summary

COENS ENERGY PTE. LTD. is seeking a BIM/CAD modeller/leader to coordinate UPW system design and modelling.

You will manage BIM/CAD models, piping layouts, and utility connections, while leading a team of modellers and technicians to ensure accurate drawings and documentation across projects. The role demands senior expertise in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD and related tools, with strong knowledge of ISO BIM standards and industrial water treatment systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture or related discipline.
• Proven BIM/CAD leadership experience on industrial or water projects.
• Strong UPW system design knowledge and cross-disciplinary coordination.
• Proficiency in BIM software (Revit/Navisworks) and CAD platforms.

Responsibilities

• Oversee BIM coordination across UPW projects to align with specs.
• Manage BIM/CAD standards, templates, and workflows for quality outputs.
• Translate UPW designs into accurate BIM/CAD models (piping, layouts, utilities).
• Conduct clash detection and resolve design conflicts across disciplines.
• Ensure timely delivery of drawings and as-built documentation.

Job description

The BIM/CAD modeller/coordinator/lead for the Ultra-Pure Water (UPW) System is responsible for managing and coordinating Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) activities across UPW projects. This role ensures accurate digital models, drawings, and documentation that support design, engineering, and construction workflows, while maintaining compliance with industry standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• BIM Coordination:
  • Oversee the development, integration, and management of BIM models for UPW systems, Chemical & Slurry, WWT - Waste Water Treatment, Gases - Bulk Gas & SpecGas ensuring alignment with project specifications and multidisciplinary coordination.
• BIM/CAD Management:
  • Oversee CAD drafting standards, templates, and workflows to deliver consistent and high-quality design outputs.
• System Design Support:
  • Collaborate with process engineers to translate UPW system designs into accurate BIM/CAD models, including piping, equipment layouts, and utility connections.
• Clash Detection:
  • Conduct model reviews and clash detection to identify and resolve design conflicts across disciplines.
• Documentation Control:
  • Ensure timely delivery of drawings, schematics, and as-built documentation for UPW systems.
• Team Leadership:
  • Mentor BIM modellers and CAD technicians, providing guidance on technical standards and project execution

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in BIM/CAD leadership roles within industrial or water treatment projects.
• Strong knowledge of UPW system design, piping layouts, and mechanical/electrical integration
• Proficiency in BIM software (e.g., Autodesk Revit, Navisworks) and CAD platforms (e.g., AutoCAD, MicroStation).
• Familiarity with BIM standards (ISO 19650, company-specific execution plans).

Preferred Skills

• Experience in semiconductor facility projects or advanced manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of process piping, cleanroom utilities, and water treatment technologies
• Ability to manage large-scale BIM datasets and coordinate across multiple disciplines
