Job summary

LV Automation PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a BIM & Revit Modeling specialist to develop and maintain 3D BIM models for BMS, electrical, and ELV systems, ensuring compliance with standards and project specs.

You will handle containment routing, equipment placement, schematic and 2D drawings, extracting shop drawings for site execution, and participate in coordination meetings to resolve clashes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 3D BIM models using Autodesk Revit for BMS, electrical and ELV systems.
• Ensure all models comply with company standards, project specifications, and local BIM submission guidelines.
• Model and route physical pathways including cable trunking, cable trays, and conduits throughout the building.
• Optimize routing pathways within tight ceiling spaces and electrical risers while ensuring maintenance accessibility.
• Accurately place electrical equipment families in the 3D model, including Makn Panels, sub-panels, enclosure.
• Position field devices and instrumentation such as sensors (BMS sensors, ELV sensors) at correct mounting heights and locations.
• Produce 2D schematic diagrams, Single-Line Diagrams (SLDs), and control logic drawings using Revit drafting views or AutoCAD.
• Extract accurate shop drawings, installation details, combined services drawings (CSD), and as-built drawings from the BIM model for site execution.
• Perform internal clash checks and resolve spatial conflicts between electrical containment (trunking/conduits) and other trades (M&E and Structural beams).
• Participate in project coordination meetings to resolve design discrepancies.

Job description

1. BIM & Revit Modeling

• Ensure all models comply with company standards, project specifications, and local BIM submission guidelines.

2. Containment & Routing Design

• Model and route physical pathways including cable trunking, cable trays, and conduits throughout the building.
• Optimize routing pathways within tight ceiling spaces and electrical risers while ensuring maintenance accessibility.

3. Equipment & Device Placement

• Accurately place electrical equipment families in the 3D model, including Makn Panels, sub-panels, enclosure.
