Job summary

NEWRICH DEVELOPMENT HOLDINGS PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced BIM Lead to drive professional BIM work across electrical, mechanical, and engineering disciplines on construction projects.

You will ensure high-quality BIM delivery, coordinate with design teams, and supervise modeling workflows using Bentley OpenPlant and Revit MEP. You will manage 4D modeling, clash reviews, and data transmission with subcontractors and consultants to meet milestones and project timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical or BIM certification.
• Minimum 5 years' experience with BIM authoring tools in construction.
• Proficient in Bentley OpenPlant Modeler, OpenBuildings Designer, OpenPlant P&ID.
• Skilled in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office.
• Strong BIM workflows knowledge and coordination capability.

Responsibilities

• Assess and review proposed model modifications from the project design team to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
• Define modeling requirements based on finalized design plans and provide guidance to the BIM modeling team for efficient execution.
• Conduct quality audits on BIM deliverables, including models, 2D/3D shop drawings, and as-built documentation, ensuring compliance with project standards.
• Review clash detection results, propose viable solutions, and monitor the resolution process to ensure effective coordination.
• Facilitate coordination among all project stakeholders, particularly with the design team, to enhance collaboration and streamline the BIM-to-design workflow.
• Utilize BIM models to effectively present design concepts and project progress as required.

About the roleResponsible for professional BIM work, familiar with the corresponding disciplines professional BIM workflows and requirements, ensuring high-quality delivery of corresponding professional BIM works on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and review proposed model modifications from the project design team to ensure accuracy and feasibility
• Define modeling requirements based on finalized design plans and provide guidance to the BIM modeling team for efficient execution
• Conduct quality audits on BIM deliverables, including models, 2D/3D shop drawings, and as-built documentation, ensuring compliance with project standards
• Review clash detection results, propose viable solutions, and monitor the resolution process to ensure effective coordination
• Facilitate coordination among all project stakeholders, particularly with the design team, to enhance collaboration and streamline the BIM-to-design workflow
• Utilize BIM models to effectively present design concepts and project progress as required
• Manage BIM project setup and administration, ensuring seamless workflow across all project phases
• Work closely with subcontractors, consultants, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues, ensuring proper data transmission
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to develop and manage 4D models for construction planning
• Ensure that the production schedules for drawings and site progress align with project milestones

About you

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Engineering, or possess a relevant BIM certification
• Minimum 5 years of experience working with BIM authoring tools in the construction industry
• Highly proficient in Bentley platform software, including OpenPlant Modeler, OpenBuildings Designer, and OpenPlant P&ID
• Skilled in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office
• Strong understanding of BIM project workflows, with the ability to coordinate BIM-related tasks based on industry experience
• Familiarity with MEP/MEICA and water treatment plant design, capable of evaluating and reviewing model modification proposals from the project design team
• Ability to translate design concepts into modeling requirements and perform quality reviews on BIM deliverables
• Excellent coordination skills to liaise with multiple project stakeholders and resolve technical issues efficiently
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision while meeting project deadlines
