Job summary

NTS Singapore is seeking a skilled Bender to operate and set up bending machines according to technical drawings and production requirements. You will ensure proper tooling, set-ups and materials, while inspecting parts for quality and accuracy on the shop floor.

You will work with engineering and quality teams to resolve issues and drive process improvements, maintain safety standards, and support training of junior operators in a collaborative, on-site environment.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to meet production requirements.
• Set up and operate bending machines using the appropriate tools, dies and materials.
• Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality and compliance with specifications, and maintain accurate production records and documentation.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment, and report technical or production issues as required.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies and manufacturing best practices while maintaining good housekeeping on machines and the work area.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve production issues and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Support the training and mentoring of junior machine operators.
