Job summary

NTS Singapore is seeking a Bender to operate and set up bending machines, producing high-quality components according to drawings and production requirements. You will ensure tooling and materials are correct, while working closely with engineering and quality teams to resolve issues.

The role emphasizes safety, accurate documentation, routine maintenance, and training of junior operators. On-site work with flex hours may be required to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Able to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and verbal instructions to ensure production requirements are met.
• Set up and operate bending machines using the appropriate tools, dies and materials.
• Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality and compliance with specifications, and maintain accurate production records and documentation.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment, and report technical or production issues as required.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies and manufacturing best practices while maintaining good housekeeping practices on machines and throughout the work area.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve production issues and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Support the training and mentoring of junior machine operators and contribute to an efficient and productive team environment.
