Job summary

GRAND MERCURE ROXY HOTEL Singapore is seeking a skilled BBQ Chef to oversee the BBQ station, ensure quality and consistency of all BBQ items, and support kitchen operations under the Executive Chef.

Develop new BBQ items, ensure compliance with food safety standards, and maintain purchasing, receiving and storage. Requires minimum 5 years of relevant experience, strong BBQ knowledge, and the ability to work both as a team player and independently.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Possess good BBQ production knowledge and skills will be an advantage.
• Highly motivated and good team player.
• Able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure the quality of food production for the BBQ section.
• Ensure the consistency and the quality of BBQ items served in the restaurant.
• Develops, designs, or creates new BBQ items.
• Ensures compliance with food handling and sanitation standards.
• Maintains purchasing, receiving and food storage standards.
• Assists Executive Chef with all kitchen operations and preparation.
