Job summary

Tandem Co is a neighbourhood café in Singapore serving specialty coffee, pastries, gelato and other beverages. We are seeking a friendly and reliable Full-Time Barista to join our team.

You will prepare espresso-based drinks, maintain quality, and provide attentive service while working closely with a small café team. Weekend and public holiday availability, reliability, and good communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Basic barista experience preferred.
• Entry-level baristas with good fundamentals welcome to apply.
• Able to work weekends and public holidays when rostered.
• Reliable, punctual and willing to learn.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Comfortable working in a small café team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare espresso-based drinks, coffee and other café beverages.
• Dial in and maintain espresso quality throughout the day.
• Provide friendly and attentive customer service.
• Take orders and operate the POS/cashier.
• Maintain cleanliness of the coffee bar and front-of-house area.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• Restock ingredients, cups and other supplies.
• Assist with general café operations when required.
