Job summary

Restaurant Beth Collective Pte Ltd is seeking a friendly barista to prepare espresso-based drinks and cold beverages toBeth’s standards. You will work closely with front-of-house and kitchen teams to keep service smooth and welcoming.

Ideal candidates have prior barista experience, comfort with espresso machines, and a passion for hospitality. Weekend and public holiday availability is required, with a focus on delivering consistent quality and great guest experiences.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare espresso-based beverages and cold drinks to Beth's standards.

• Manage the coffee station including cleaning and maintenance.

About the role

As our barista, you'll be responsible for preparing coffee and drinks to a consistent standard while creating a welcoming experience for our guests. You'll also work closely with the front-of-house and kitchen team to keep service running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare espresso-based coffee, cold drinks and other beverages to Beth's standards
• Dial in and calibrate coffee throughout service
• Maintain consistency in espresso extraction, milk texturing and latte art
• Handle the coffee station, including cleaning and daily maintenance of equipment
• Take orders and assist with POS when needed
• Provide warm, attentive and friendly service to guests
• Keep the bar and service areas clean, organised and well stocked
• Work closely with the team during busy service periods
• Assist with opening and closing duties
• Support other front-of-house duties when required

About you

• Previous barista experience, preferably in a café or restaurant environment
• Comfortable working with an espresso machine and grinder
• Able to dial in coffee and understand basic coffee extraction
• Good attention to detail and pride in what you serve
• Friendly, approachable and comfortable speaking with guests
• Reliable, responsible and able to work well as part of a small team
• Able to stay calm and organised during busy service
• Latte art skills are a plus
• Weekend and public holiday availability is required
