ABeam Consulting (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. seeks a capable Business Analyst/PMO professional to support the modernization of banking platforms across APAC. You will gather requirements, assess current and target states, and help translate business needs into technical solutions.

The role emphasizes stakeholder management, workshops, risk tracking, and governance across business and IT teams, vendors, and regional stakeholders. Excellent communication in English and Japanese is valued.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Minimum 3 years as a Business Analyst, PMO Analyst, or Consultant in banking, financial services, or tech transformation projects.
Strong business English communication skills, both written and verbal.
5+ years of experience supporting banking or financial services projects, preferably in Business Analysis, PMO, or consulting roles.
Proven experience in large-scale system implementation, transformation, migration, or platform modernization programs.
Strong knowledge of Payments, Cash Management, Transaction Banking, Corporate Banking, or related banking domains.
Experience with working with business users, IT teams, vendors, and senior stakeholders across regional/multi-country environments.
Strong stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.
Experience with PMO functions, governance, vendors, and system integrators in large transformation programs.
Experience in Japanese corporate environments and APAC banking projects preferred.

Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, processes, and functional specifications.
Conduct current-state and target-state process assessments to identify gaps and improvements.
Drive business process optimization for cross-border banking and transaction management.
Facilitate workshops and requirement-gathering sessions with business users, IT teams, vendors, and regional stakeholders.
Perform gap analysis and support solution design to align with business objectives.
Collaborate with project teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Support governance activities including status reporting, milestone tracking, and documentation management.
Monitor progress and track dependencies across multiple workstreams.
Identify, assess, and track project risks, issues, and mitigation plans.
Coordinate issue resolution and escalation of critical concerns.
Manage stakeholder communications and alignment across business, technology, and vendor teams.
Support UAT, test planning, defect management, and business sign-off activities.
Assist change management and implementation to ensure adoption of new processes and systems.
Ensure successful delivery within timelines, scope, and quality.
