Job summary

Capco, a Wipro company, is expanding its Business Analyst team to support a banking Data for AI programme in Singapore. The role requires strong BA and consulting experience within financial services, with hands-on data governance and data management knowledge.

You will work across business, data and technology teams to translate findings into practical requirements and improvements, leading workshops and guiding data-driven initiatives for banking and payments clients.

Qualifications

• Strong Business Analyst and consulting experience within banking or financial services.
• Practical experience in data governance, data management, data strategy or data transformation.
• Knowledge of data ownership/stewardship, metadata, data catalogue, business glossary, lineage and data quality.

Responsibilities

• Assess current-state data governance, ownership, stewardship, access, controls and data processes.
• Work across AI/data use cases to understand data requirements, sources, flows, access and consumption.
• Lead stakeholder interviews and workshops with business, data and technology teams.
• Map processes and data flows and identify gaps, bottlenecks, manual effort and unclear accountability.
• Translate findings into clear business/data requirements, target-state improvements and reusable governance patterns.
• Identify recurring enterprise data issues versus use-case-specific challenges.
• Engage and constructively challenge senior stakeholders and SMEs.
