Job summary

STEENBOK PTE LTD in Singapore seeks a cybersecurity professional to implement, configure, and optimize security controls within a banking environment. You will administer security platforms and collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to maintain strong defenses.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of hands-on cybersecurity experience, including exposure to SIEM, EDR, vulnerability management, IAM/PAM, email security, or firewalls, and demonstrate solid problem‑solving skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 2 to 4 years of relevant cybersecurity experience, including internships, industrial attachments, or full‑time employment.
• Hands‑on experience with one or more security technologies such as SIEM, Endpoint Protection/EDR, Vulnerability Management, Firewalls, IAM/PAM, Web Application Firewalls, or Email Security solutions.
• Familiarity with security architecture, system hardening, access controls, vulnerability management, and security best practices.
• Good understanding of networking, Windows and Linux operating systems, and enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Relevant certifications will be advantageous.
• Exposure to banking, financial services, or other regulated environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, maintain, and optimize cybersecurity technologies and security controls in a banking environment.
• Administer and support security platforms, including SIEM, endpoint security, vulnerability management, IAM/PAM, email security, and network security solutions.
• Perform system hardening, security configuration reviews, and vulnerability remediation activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve security technology issues, working closely with infrastructure and application teams.
• Deploy security tools and support security projects, technology upgrades, platform migrations, and continuous security improvements.
• Develop and maintain security documentation, technical procedures, and operational standards.
