Job summary

OCBC Bank is recruiting as Bancassurance Specialist to provide advisory services on Bancassurance products under Personal Banking. You will train colleagues, undertake ad hoc upskilling projects, and conduct trainings and seminars when required.

Daily joint appointments with clients and post-appointment discussions are included to help achieve management targets. The role emphasizes mature, confident engagement in client meetings, with potential coaching and team mentoring responsibilities

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior experience in Insurance Sales-related roles.
• Sound analytical mind and ability to multi-task within a small team.

What you do

1. Bancassurance Specialist will provide advisory services on all Bancassurance products under the Personal Banking segment
2. Conduct training and continuing education for Personal Financial Consultants on Bancassurance products
3. Take on Ad hoc projects to upskill relevant stakeholders
4. Conduct trainings and seminars whenever required
5. Perform daily joint appointments including pre and post discussion after the appointment
6. Achieve revenue targets set out by management

Who you are

1. A good degree in Banking and Finance or equivalent
2. Candidate should have 3-5 years of prior experience in Insurance Sales-related roles
3. Sound analytical mind
4. Must have or willing to learn a broad-based insurance-related exposure and background in order to multi-task within a small team
5. Candidate should ideally be mature, confident, and able to play a meaningful role in client meetings
6. Coaching, mentoring and team management experience will be an added advantage
