Job summary

Plain Vanilla Bakery is seeking dedicated Packers to join the Central Kitchen in Singapore. You will pack and label pastries, cakes, cookies, and other baked goods for retail stores and online orders, ensuring quality and presentation.

No prior experience is required as training will be provided; however, experience in packing, logistics or F&B is an advantage. The role offers rotating or fixed shifts, including weekends and public holidays, in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Physically fit to handle light packing tasks and standing for extended periods.
• Able to commit to rotating or fixed shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Pack and label pastries, cakes, cookies, and other baked goods according to daily production and delivery schedules.
• Ensure all items are packed accurately, neatly, and in compliance with Plain Vanilla’s packaging and quality standards.
• Prepare and consolidate orders for both retail store replenishment and online deliveries (e-commerce).
• Work closely with the Operation Partner to ensure accurate and timely fulfilment of orders.
• Assist in checking stock levels and notifying the supervisor of low or missing items.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packing area at all times.
• Adhere to food hygiene and safety standards during all handling and packing processes.
• Support additional operational tasks as assigned during peak or festive periods.
