Job summary

ONE PLUS ONE HUMAN RESOURCES PTE. LTD. is seeking a bakery assistant to support pastry preparation and maintain consistency in recipes and presentation. You will ensure proper handling, temperatures, and hygiene across workstations.

The role requires the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting, with a background in baking and food safety being advantageous. Training and growth opportunities may be available within a dynamic bakery environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of relevant experience.
• No experience applicants are welcome to apply.
• Willing to learn and have a strong passion for baking.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• A valid food hygiene certificate will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist the bakery team in the preparation of pastry
• Execute and maintain consistent recipes and presentation
• Follow proper handling and right temperature of food products
• Handle equipment in a safe and proper manner
• Maintain workstations are clean and tidy with proper hygiene
• Minimize the wastage and spoilage of ingredients
• Ensure proper hygiene practices in accordance with food & beverage safety and hygiene standards
• Any other duties assigned by the manager
