Job summary

DNATA SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Baggage Agent to oversee baggage services in the assigned area. The role involves ensuring proper load, container setup, equipment serviceability, and timely dispatch of bags for flights.

You will liaise with Load Control, supervise SOP adherence, and assist with VIP or Private Jet operations when needed. Requires basic education and readiness for shift work in a dynamic airport environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE 'O' or 'N' Levels required.

Responsibilities

• Check passengers load and baggage containers build-up, set up BRS or bingo card for flight.
• Check and ensure equipment are serviceable.
• Liaise with Centralize Load Control (CLC) or local Load Control via email for flight report.
• Ensure departure bags are correctly sorted and dispatched timely for aircraft loading.
• Periodically check odd-size belts for odd-size bags.
• Report irregularities to Baggage Services Supervisor.
• Ensure service partner staff comply with SOPs and airlines’ requirements.
• Handle VIP and Private Jets if necessary, including operate baggage tractor to tow/deliver bags.
• Prepare ground equipment for departure flight such as containers and dolly.
• Collect/send empty containers from/to cargo warehouse.
• Assist Baggage Controller during shift.
• Ensure compliance with all workplace safety, security, and health policies and procedures.
• Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned by the reporting manager or department head.
