Job summary

BEUMER GROUP SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Network Engineer to manage the BHS network, including core switches, firewalls, and links to HLC servers, PLCs, SCADA workstations and airport interfaces.

You will monitor, troubleshoot incidents, and execute approved changes under change management, ensuring secure segregation between BHS and airport IT to keep baggage flow uninterrupted. Be prepared to travel between sites for emergencies and to support peak operations.

Qualifications

Degree or Diploma in a networking-related field.
2–3 years of junior-level network support/administration experience, ideally on live systems.
Proficiency with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing and switching; familiarity with Wireshark and packet captures.
CCNA and/or CCNP, and ISO 27001/VAPT exposure are advantageous.

Responsibilities

Provide site-based network support for the BHS across different sites.
Travel between sites for emergencies on short notice.
Monitor and troubleshoot the BHS network, including core switches and firewalls.
Log, escalate and close incidents; perform approved changes under change management.
Maintain segregation between BHS and airport IT; prepare rollback plans before changes.
Support HW rollout, migrations, and expansions without disrupting baggage flow.
Document network diagrams, IP/VLAN plans, and asset inventory.
