Job summary

PERSOL in Singapore is seeking a Diploma-qualified engineer to support the Drive Backend Assembly line. The role focuses on applying Six Sigma and Lean principles, data analysis, and problem-solving to improve performance and meet targets.

You will perform process setup and buyoffs, monitor yield, run basic data queries, and collaborate with engineers on continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency and quality. Working location is Woodlands; the position includes a 12-hour night shift.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering and related disciplines required.
• Strong data querying and analytical capabilities.
• Proficient English with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform process setup and buyoff for Drive Backend Assembly to meet yield, cycle time, and quality targets.
• Monitor production yield, detect excursions, conduct process mapping, containment, and root-cause analysis; propose corrective actions.
• Conduct basic data queries and analysis to provide insights for engineering teams.
• Monitor KPIVs/KPOVs and Fast Triggering systems to ensure process sustainability.
• Collaborate with engineers to achieve aggressive goals while upholding high quality.
• Lead or participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance production efficiency.
• Perform additional tasks to support team, department and company OKRs.
