555 Group is building and owning payment, ledger, and settlement systems that power thousands of daily transactions across Singapore and Malaysia.

The team designs reliable payment flows, models financial primitives, and integrates with PayNow, DuitNow, card schemes, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. You’ll handle high-availability on-call duties as part of a focused backend squad.

Competenze

• 5+ years backend experience, ideally in Java and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with payments, ledgers, or financial systems.
• Strong fundamentals in concurrency, idempotency, and consistency.
• Comfortable with on-call rotation.

Mansioni

What you'll do

• Model financial primitives: ledgers, accounts, holds, transfers, settlement
• Integrate with PayNow, DuitNow, card schemes, Apple Pay, Google Pay
• Run incident response when something breaks at 2 AM

What we’re looking for
