Job summary

Volcano Ark, part of Volcano Engine, Singapore, invites graduates to join our backend team building next-generation infrastructure for general-purpose Agents. You will design and implement resource scheduling for ML platforms, enabling training, evaluation, and inference workloads across NLP, CV, and speech tasks.

Successful candidates will contribute to orchestrating heterogeneous GPUs, CPUs, and accelerators across multi-cloud environments, with emphasis on scalable, efficient, and observable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computing or related field.
• Proficient in Go, Python, or Shell in Linux.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes and container tech (Docker/Containerd/Kata/Podman).
• Experience designing, developing and maintaining large-scale distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop resource scheduling systems for ML platforms across NLP, CV, and Speech.
• Optimize orchestration of GPUs, CPUs, and accelerators for multi-cloud resources.
• Develop scheduling for compute, RDMA networking, and storage for large-scale clusters.
• Design workload scheduling across data centers, regions, and cloud environments.
