Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computing or a related discipline.
• Solid coding skills and system design capabilities.
• Proficiency in at least one language (Golang, Python, Rust or Java) with AI coding tools.
• Strong understanding of large language models and Agent architectures.
• Familiarity with Linux, container tech, and cloud-native infrastructure.
• Backend & distributed services experience (MySQL, Redis, message queues).
• Experience with high-concurrency, low-latency online services is preferred.
• Knowledge of container runtimes, virtualization, and multi-tenant systems is a plus.
• Passion for AI-native applications and rapid idea-to-production translation.

Responsibilities

• Develop the core Agent infrastructure for the Volcano Ark platform with a reliable, scalable runtime and execution engine.
• Build platform capabilities: resource model abstraction, lifecycle and configuration management; expose OpenAPIs with registration, authentication, and metering.
• Design and develop the Agent evaluation framework with benchmarks and integration to industry harnesses.
• Ensure high reliability and observability under large-scale workloads and high concurrency.
• Explore next-gen Agent paradigms and drive productization to improve developer productivity.
