Job summary

Apple South Asia Pte. Ltd. is seeking a server-side Java developer to join the Identity Management group. You will design and maintain robust backend services, build RESTful APIs, and ensure scalable, secure platforms that support billions of Apple customers worldwide.

You will work with Java, Spring Boot, and modern containerized deployments (Docker/Kubernetes) while collaborating with engineers, DBAs, and system experts to maintain availability and performance at planet-scale.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience in server-side Java development.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Strong CS fundamentals.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Server-Side Application Development (Java & Spring): Designing, coding, and maintaining robust backend logic and architecture.
• API Design and Integration: Creating, testing, and documenting RESTful APIs for backend/frontend and third-party services.
• Database Management and Optimization: Designing schemas, writing queries, and managing SQL/NoSQL data.
• System Performance and Security: Ensuring reliability, monitoring bottlenecks, and implementing security measures.
• Code Quality, Testing, and Deployment: Writing clean tests and deploying via CI/CD and containers.
• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure availability and reliability of platforms.
