Job summary

Foodpanda is seeking a backend developer to design and implement features used across the global platform. You will collaborate with international cross-functional teams to manage priorities, deadlines, and deliverables, driving holistic solutions.

You will contribute to designing and evolving the system architecture to meet current needs and support future growth and technologies. Strong Golang skills, testing, and cloud/CI‑CD experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent education or practical experience.
• Overall 4-6 years of experience in backend development with mandatory proficiency in Golang.
• Hands-on experience with Design Patterns, Design Principles, Software Architecture and Algorithms and automated tests (unit, integration and functional).
• Understanding of microservices architecture and patterns, beneficial for scalable systems.
• Good knowledge of relational & distributed databases (ACID, isolation levels, indexing, distributed DB concepts).
• Ability to work with cross-functional and international agile teams.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication.
