FPT Asia Pacific Pte Ltd is seeking a Backend Engineer to design, build, deploy, and operate secure backend services enabling AI, ML, and generative AI solutions for government systems and digital services. You will collaborate with product, policy, data, cybersecurity, DevOps, and platform teams to translate operational needs into reliable, production-ready systems.

Formación

• Proven experience building backend services and APIs for AI-enabled products.
• Experience with AI/ML libraries and model deployment pipelines.
• Strong Python programming with production-grade testing and API development.
• Familiarity with data prep, model evaluation, MLOps, monitoring and production support.
• Understanding of responsible AI, governance, and security controls in enterprise/government contexts.]
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCC environments.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, deploy, and operate secure backend services supporting ML and generative AI in government use cases.
• Translate policy, business, and operational needs into technical designs and implementation plans.
• Develop backend services for model pipelines, prompt workflows, and retrieval-augmented generation APIs.
• Conduct model and solution testing for accuracy, reliability, safety, and bias.
• Support responsible AI controls, including audit logs, access controls, and explainability measures.
• Collaborate with DevOps, cybersecurity, data, and platform teams to deploy solutions in government environments.
• Monitor deployed solutions for drift, performance, and security risks; provide troubleshooting support.
