Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, an RTX business, seeks a Senior Backend Engineer in Singapore to design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs using Python, FastAPI, and MongoDB on Azure. You will collaborate with global teams to deliver AI-powered inspection solutions for aviation professionals worldwide.

You will contribute to reliability, performance, and security improvements, and participate in CI/CD and DevOps practices in an Agile, high-ownership environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
• 7+ years of Python backend development experience for SaaS platforms, with hands-on FastAPI, MongoDB and Azure Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Build state-of-the-art backend features and APIs using Python, FastAPI, and MongoDB on Azure.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and AI teams in an Agile environment.
• Improve backend performance, reliability, and security, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
