Job summary

Grab Singapore is hiring for a Merchant Sales role within the F&B Merchant Acquisition team. You will help restaurants adopt Grab's suite of business solutions to increase revenue, engagement, and smoother operations, identifying growth opportunities across both online and offline channels.

You will work directly with restaurant owners and key decision-makers, report to the Manager, Merchant Sales, and be based onsite in Grab Singapore.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, merchant acquisition, or other client-facing commercial roles.
• Proven experience in prospecting, hunting, and acquiring new business opportunities, in a consultative way.
• Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects, with the ability to engage business owners and decision-makers.
• Understand merchant needs and recommend suitable business solutions.
• Thrives in fast-paced, target-driven environments and takes strong ownership of responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new restaurant partners through cold calling, networking, referrals, field prospecting, and face-to-face meetings.
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of sales opportunities with disciplined CRM and pipeline management.
• Understand merchants' business challenges and growth priorities, and recommend suitable Grab solutions to support their growth.
• Conduct sales presentations, negotiations, and contract discussions with business owners and important decision-makers.
• Build long-term relationships with merchants and identify future growth opportunities across Grab's ecosystem.
• Work with Operations, Marketing, and Account Management teams to ensure successful onboarding and adoption of Grab solutions.
• Contribute ideas and initiatives to improve sales processes, team effectiveness, and overall business performance.
