Job summary

JU HUAT FOOD PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an Operations Manager to oversee daily production across departments, ensure targets and delivery timelines are met, and optimise manpower deployment. You will monitor productivity, costs, and compliance with GMP and HACCP, coordinating with QA, Maintenance, and Supply Chain.

The role requires strong leadership, cross-functional coordination, and the ability to adapt to changing orders and peak periods while driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Manufacturing, Operations Management or related discipline.
• Experience leading a multi-department food manufacturing operation is preferred.
• Strong leadership and people-management capabilities with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple departments in a food manufacturing facility.
• Ensure production targets, order quantities and delivery timelines are met.
• Plan manpower and deploy staff across shifts for efficiency.
• Monitor productivity, attendance, overtime and costs.
• Coordinate with Production, QA, Warehouse, Logistics, Procurement, Maintenance, R&D, Sales and HR.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement improvements to productivity and workflow.
• Support onboarding of new B2B customers and scale production capacity.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, food safety requirements and audits.
