Job summary

Maestro HR in Singapore is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, deploy, and support scalable web and cloud-native applications across the full software development lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure, microservices, containerization (Docker, ACA/AKS), RESTful APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices, collaborating closely with UX, BA, and QA teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimally 2 to 3 years of software development experience.
• Hands-on experience in programming languages and frameworks such as Java, .NET, Python, JavaScript, Angular.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing applications using modern software development practices.
• Build and support microservices-based architectures for enterprise-grade applications.
• Design, implement, and deploy cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Develop and manage containerized applications using Docker, Azure Container Apps (ACA), and/or Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Configure and manage Kubernetes workloads, including deployments, services, ingress controllers, autoscaling, secrets management, and monitoring.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger specifications, and event-driven solutions.
• Integrate applications using messaging and event-streaming technologies such as Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, Event Hub, RabbitMQ, or Kafka.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms.
• Ensure software quality through secure coding practices, code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and incident resolution for production systems.
• Collaborate closely with software developers, UX designers, business analysts, system analysts, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Contribute to system architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and technology evaluation initiatives.
