Job summary

Salient Group is seeking a hands-on Cloud Security Engineer in Singapore to deploy security controls across Azure and build robust threat detection for a hybrid infra. You will onboard SIEM and SOAR platforms, integrate log sources, and automate defenses, collaborating with product and infrastructure teams to translate security requirements into tangible controls.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience with cloud security controls (Azure preferred).
• Strong knowledge of network security including firewall and WAF deployment.
• Experience with at least one SIEM and SOAR platform.
• Solid understanding of identity management and federation (SAML, OAuth).
• Familiarity with containerization and virtual infrastructure security.
• AZ-500 or equivalent cloud security certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deploying and managing cloud security controls across Azure.
• Building threat detection across a hybrid infrastructure stack.
• Onboarding and developing SIEM and SOAR platforms, including log source integration and automation.
• Working with stakeholders on security requirements and translating them into real controls.
• Responding to customer-sponsored penetration tests.
• Contributing to the security roadmap to meet customer and regulatory demands.
• Running workshops and knowledge shares to raise the security bar across the org.
