Job summary

Astek Singapore Innovation Technology Pte. Ltd. is seeking a seasoned cybersecurity Detection Engineer to lead threat detection and security assessments. The role focuses on building operational dashboards, leveraging CTI, and automating tasks with Python or PowerShell to enhance data lake reporting.

You will work with ASM/EASM platforms and across cloud exposures (AWS/Azure/GCP) while validating frameworks like NIST and ISO 27001. This is a hands-on, on-site role in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience as cybersecurity Detection Engineer.
• Experience running security assessments and questionnaires (VDD/ODD, SIG) and control frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls).
• Experience with ASM/EASM, cyber exposure, or digital risk/dark-web monitoring platforms, and Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI).
• Scripting knowledge in Python or PowerShell to automate tasks and build reporting dashboards on data lake platforms.
• Experience with TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, and common cloud exposures (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience in building operational dashboards.
• Certifications: CEH, GIAC (GSEC, GCIH).
