Job summary

Avensys Consulting Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Security Engineer to strengthen IT security, Azure, cyber security, and network security across client environments. You will drive governance, incident management, risk assessment and compliance activities while collaborating with stakeholders.

The role offers exposure to Splunk/ArcSight and other monitoring tools, with opportunities to lead security reviews, audits and remediation efforts in a dynamic, client-focused setting.

Qualifications

• B.E/B.Tech or degree in Information Systems, CS or similar.
• CISSP/CISA/CISM/CRISC/CGEIT certification required.
• 5+ years in Cybersecurity with governance and policy experience; 10+ years IT overall.
• Experience in IT Infrastructure domains is a plus.
• Strong communication and leadership skills; team leadership preferred.
• Attention to detail and risk management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor SLA/KPI of in-scope systems and report to client.
• Coordinate with client stakeholders for delivery and maintenance.
• Lead security incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Review governance, compliance, and risk management reports.
• Manage security monitoring tools including Splunk, ArcSight, EDR.
• Prepare management plans and evidence for audits.
• Support audit activities and DR/BCP exercises.
• Propose continuous improvement initiatives for IT security.
