Job summary

CMC-APAC Private Limited is seeking an Azure Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain Azure infrastructure across development, testing, and production. You will translate architecture into scalable implementations covering networking, security, compute, containers, storage, databases, and monitoring.

The role involves developing IaC with Terraform, configuring Azure networking, RBAC, and monitoring, and collaborating with DevSecOps teams to support deployments and DR exercises.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years hands-on Azure Cloud Engineering or similar.
• Proven experience delivering cloud-native solutions from setup to production.
• Deep expertise in Azure services: networking, security, identity, monitoring.
• Experience with Terraform and CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Strong knowledge of Azure networking: Hub-and-Spoke, Private Endpoints, DNS, Firewalls, Application Gateway.
• Hands-on with containers and Kubernetes: deployment, scaling, ingress, troubleshooting.
• Understanding of governance, cost management, RBAC, secrets, certificates, and compliance.
• Ability to assess vendor solutions, identify risks, and suggest improvements.
• Proficiency in scripting languages: PowerShell, Python, Bash, or Go.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure across environments.
• Translate solution architecture into scalable Azure implementations.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) for automated provisioning.
• Configure Azure networking, connectivity, RBAC, secrets, and monitoring solutions.
• Collaborate with engineers and DevSecOps teams for deployments and releases.
• Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, networking, identity, and deployment issues.
• Review vendor cloud solutions for architecture, security, and governance.
• Support security assessments, DR exercises, audits, and cost optimization.
