Job summary

GMP Technologies (S) Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to manage and support enterprise network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers in a 24x7 production environment.

You will install and maintain network hardware and software, design hybrid connectivity to AWS, and work with Security Operations on vulnerability remediation, incident response, and DR planning.

Qualifications

• Degree in CS/IT/Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years in network engineering/operations.
• Hands-on AWS networking (VPC, subnets, VPN, Direct Connect).
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing and switching.
• Experience with enterprise firewalls and load balancers.
• Certs such as CCNA/CCNP or Check Point advantageous.
• Analytical, proactive and able to work under pressure.
• Willingness to provide after-hours support.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support enterprise network infrastructure in a 24x7 production environment.
• Install, configure and maintain network hardware and software.
• Monitor health, availability and performance; perform capacity planning.
• Design and support hybrid connectivity between on-premises data centres and AWS cloud.
• Configure AWS networking components (VPCs, subnets, route tables, security groups).
• Troubleshoot hybrid cloud connectivity issues with providers.
• Ensure security controls per IM8/PCI DSS where applicable.
• Collaborate with Security Operations on remediation and incident response.
• Maintain network documentation and runbooks.
• Provide after-hours operational support for maintenance and upgrades.
