Job summary

NCS Group is seeking a Senior AWS Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer (Team Lead) to design, implement, and lead operations of hybrid infrastructure across AWS and on-premise systems. You will manage a distributed team, drive automation, and collaborate with cross-functional tech teams.

The role covers Windows infrastructure (AD, Azure AD), VMware ESXi, Nutanix HCI, Hitachi storage, and Terraform/Ansible automation, with a push toward governance and cost optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or related field.
• 5–8 years managing hybrid infrastructure environments.
• At least 3 years designing, deploying, or managing AWS services.
• Proven ability to lead a technical operations team in a complex enterprise.
• Collaborates with cross-functional infrastructure domains (network, endpoint, security).

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a distributed team of 20-30 engineers across infrastructure environments.
• Develop and track annual improvement plans based on metrics and tech advancements.
• Foster a culture of ownership, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Provide strategic input to senior management on service optimization and growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with Endpoint Management, Network Operations, Cloud Security, and Application teams to design end-to-end infra solutions.
• Develop architectures ensuring security, performance, and compatibility.
• Participate in cross-domain projects like device lifecycle, network modernization, and hybrid cloud.
• Contribute to automation and orchestration using Terraform, Ansible, or PowerShell.
• Serve as escalation point for multi-domain issues.
