Job summary

Envoy Search Partners Pte Limited is seeking an Application Architect to design, plan, and deploy AWS cloud systems within a highly Agile engineering team. You will interface with multiple business units, drive cloud adoption, and collaborate with global teams to build new AWS services spanning IaaS and PaaS.

You will re-engineer applications, define architecture roadmaps, and mentor teams while evaluating industry trends and vendor roadmaps to strengthen the organisation's cloud strategy.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python, Ruby or Golang.
• Experience with DevOps tools (Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Salt, JSON, Terraform, Jenkins).
• Experience with AWS cloud architecture, migration and deployment.
• Experience with other cloud technologies (Azure, Google Cloud, open source or hybrid).
• Experience working in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain AWS cloud architectures for all infrastructure technologies.
• Support the development of complex enterprise architectures for AWS computing architecture, architecture reviews, and selection efforts.
• Benchmark with third party organizations to discipline overall Cloud strategy.
• Participate in setting long term direction, roadmaps, and standards for technical architecture.
• Expand knowledge of industry trends and evaluate fit to the organisation.
• Engage in vendor negotiations and align with vendor roadmaps.
• Appraise and modify current architecture to identify deficiencies and alternatives.
• Interface with senior Global Infrastructure leaders and other architects on business requirements.
