Job summary

Amazon in Singapore seeks an experienced Senior Solution Architect to guide customers in transforming software development practices with modern AWS architectures and AI-native tools. You will collaborate with customers and peers, develop content, and enable the broader community to harness AWS cloud capabilities.

The role focuses on applied patterns, SDLC excellence, and hands-on leadership across multinational teams, conferences, and technical workshops to accelerate cloud adoption.

Qualifications

• Degree in advanced technology or 10+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience.
• 5+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
• Ability to educate and inspire a community of developers and explain complex concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Be an active member of the AWS Solution Architecture team by leading and influencing stakeholders in on-to-one and one-to-many application architecture and development discussions and workshops with developers, software engineers, enterprise/solution architects and CTOs.
• Accelerating adoption of AWS in student, startup and professional developer communities by engaging through conferences, startup events, meetups, user groups and hackathons.
• Help lead the direction for AWS developer events to make them best-in-class from a developer’s perspective, representing AWS through speaking, live demos and attendee interaction.
• Create technical content such as reference applications, starter kits and patterns and practical guidance to excite developers about AWS as a development platform.
• Contribute to a library of reusable developer-focused artefacts such as demonstrations, sample code, blog posts, tutorials, and other means of technical enablement.
• Provide end-user feedback to AWS Product Management and Engineering teams based on the developer ‘voice of the customer’. Participate in technical and design discussions with AWS teams to speed adoption and ensure best practices.
