The Japan Research Institute (JRI) Limited, a SMBC Group subsidiary in Singapore, seeks a senior System Analyst to analyze and translate business requirements into detailed specs and collaborate across architecture, development, and testing teams. You will drive process improvements and contribute to technology roadmaps.

Requirements include a 10+ year track record in a banking environment, proficiency in both Agile and Waterfall, and strong communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Finance & Banking.
• 10+ years of experience as a System Analyst or similar role.
• Experience in Banking with exposure to Digital Channels.
• Knowledge of Agile / Waterfall methodologies is advantageous.
• Familiar with business process re-engineering and solution design.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage lite projects independently.

Responsabilités

• Analyze and translate business requirements into detailed functional and technical specs, aligning with enterprise architecture and design principles.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects to design scalable, secure, and efficient technology solutions that meet business objectives.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, development teams, and testing teams to ensure clear communication and integration of requirements.
• Lead process re-engineering initiatives and define target operating models with technology-enabled improvements.
• Prepare and review deliverables including functional specs, solution design docs, API specs, and UML models.
• Support project planning with PMO including resource estimation, scheduling, and budget forecasting.
• Coordinate SIT and UAT testing ensuring coverage aligns with requirements and design.
• Assist in mid-term strategy, contributing to roadmaps and optimization initiatives.
• Provide Level 2 functional support resolving complex issues with development and infrastructure teams.
• Ensure compliance with governance standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements throughout the lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and translate business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and solution design principles.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects to design scalable, secure, and efficient technology solutions that meet business objectives.
• Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders, development teams, and testing teams, ensuring clear communication and seamless integration of requirements.
• Drive process re-engineering initiatives, defining target operating models and recommending technology-enabled improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Finance & Banking.
• Minimum of 10 years working as a System Analyst or a role holding similar job responsibilities
• Experience in Banking environment with exposure to Digital Channels.
• Knowledge in Agile / Waterfall Methodology will be an advantage.
• Familiar with business process re-engineering and solution design.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, relationship building skills and ability to achieve results with these stakeholders in a collaborative manner.
• Excellent communication skills and strong ability to steer / influence positive outcome effectively. Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Able to manage lite projects independently.
