Job summary

Ambition Singapore seeks an AVP/VP for Portfolio Integrated Services to oversee enterprise-wide investment data quality and governance, and to shape the IBOR data roadmap in collaboration with investment, risk, reporting and technology teams.

You will own data operations, define metrics, drive UAT, manage data vendors, and lead data-solutions delivery, ensuring data remains trustworthy and fit for purpose across the organization.

Qualifications

• Degree with 5–8 years' experience in portfolio, data management or data analytics.
• Strong stakeholder management across multiple teams.
• Familiar with SQL, Tableau and data warehouse concepts.
• Experience with SDLC and Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end data operations: monitor, investigate, and resolve data incidents.

Our client is a leading global institutional investor managing a large, diversified portfolio across asset classes and markets worldwide. They are seeking an AVP/VP to join their Portfolio Integrated Services team - a critical function responsible for the integrity, quality, and stewardship of enterprise-wide investment data.

The Role

You will play a key role in shaping the future roadmap of Portfolio data, with a focus on the Investment Book of Records (IBOR), data analytics, and exposure measures. You'll be the central interface between investment, risk, reporting, and technology teams - ensuring data remains trustworthy and fit for purpose across the organization.

What You'll Do

• Manage end-to-end data operations: monitor, investigate, and resolve day-to-day data incidents
• Own data quality - designing metrics and monitoring standards across enterprise data
• Partner with Data Engineers and business stakeholders to scope and implement data solutions
• Drive UAT for data and system changes
• Manage relationships with internal and external data vendors
• Identify and recommend process/operating model improvements to reduce risk and enhance governance

What You'll Bring

• Degree with 5-8 years' experience, including 3+ years hands-on in total portfolio, data management, or data analytics within investment/banking
• Strong stakeholder management skills - comfortable balancing competing priorities across teams
• Familiarity with SQL, Tableau, and data warehouse/data modeling concepts
• Experience with SDLC and/or Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
• Exposure to MS SQL, Snowflake, PostgreSQL, or Informatica is a plus
• Background in economics/finance is preferred
