Primary Responsibilities
Trade Execution, Reporting, Settlement
- Performing trade execution for various products such as equities, fixed income, cash equivalents, derivatives, commodities, foreign exchange, and alternative investments internally or externally coordination with custodian banks/ brokerage firm, in the most accurate manner
- Provide real-time trade updates and execution insights
- Conduct pre-trade analysis and post-trade verification/ reconciliation
- Ensure trade confirmations, reconciliations, and reporting are accurate
- Monitor counterparty risk, trade errors, and pricing discrepancies
- Ensure all executed trades are accurately recorded and confirmed with counterparties
- Timely check and update/ inform the trade status; follow up on pending or unmatched transactions to IA/ RM/ ARM/ PM team
Internal Trade Communication & Client Interaction
- Work closely with RM/ ARMs/ IAs to execute trades efficiently
- Maintain strong relationships with internal & external clients
- Handle requests/ queries and work with internal/ external clients (e.g. RM/ ARM/ Compliance/ Custodian)
- Retrieve pricing quotations, reports, statements, confirmations, and term sheets by coordinating with various custodian banks and brokerage firms through online platforms or direct communication via emails
- Ensure timely access to accurate financial data by proactively engaging with counterparties and monitoring updates on e-banking platforms
- Consistently update and maintain the trade blotter with accuracy, ensuring that all executed trades are properly recorded in a timely manner
- Upload daily trade data to Salesforce, ensuring seamless integration and accessibility of trade records
Risk & Compliance Management
- Ensure best execution by adhering to regulatory requirements
- Follow internal controls to prevent regulatory breaches
- Maintain detailed records for audits and compliance reporting
- Maintain proper trade documentation, reporting, and post-trade reconciliation
- Adhere to regulatory guidelines on transparency, reporting, and best execution practices
Requirements
- Private banking ARM experience will be an advantage
- Minimum 5 years' experience in risk management, trade settlement, and post-trade operations; RNF license is required
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Able to work effectively both independently and in cross-functional, fast-paced, multicultural environments
- Proficient in regulatory frameworks and risk management practices
