Job summary

Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation Singapore Branch is seeking a seasoned Project/Business Analyst to lead end-to-end delivery of Agency Loans related initiatives. You will engage with business users to gather requirements, work with technology teams to design solutions, and support governance activities such as charters, risk assessments, and ROI discussions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology; Finance & Banking or commerce.
• 6+ years working experience in banking/finance IT projects.

Responsibilities

• Work with Program lead to manage implementation of Agency Loans related projects, ensuring delivery within time, budget, and specifications, managing the end-to-end execution, till project closure.
• Engage business users, perform business analysis of business requests relating to project, understand and document user requirements, engage with technology teams to formulate solutions to address business pain points.
• Support in creation of project charters, scope documents, risk assessments, budgets and IT Value (ROI, IRR) discussions.
• Conduct feasibility studies and confirm resulting business unit decisions.
• Collaborate with Product Owners or Transformation teams to understand business goals, needs or pain points and initiate necessary projects to address these.
• Perform technology solutioning, collaborate with business analysts to co-create business requirements to define scope of projects; collaborate with Engineering and Architecture teams to outline IT solution.
• Support L1 and L2 teams to manage production applications owned by team.
